George, Sorry but this is a weak "Central bank intervention to prop up the dollar pulled the rug out from under COMEX gold on Friday," because 1. the dollar was down slightly today, no big change 2. gold hasnt been trading up on the weaker dollar for a long time now. Good job on your investment basics but my comments were directed towards the media spin that trys to come up with reasons that dont fit. M.
