Fundamental analysis starts by first looking at the balance sheet.

I don't denounce MOMO investing but it's a lot safer with a momo stock that is not in the expensive category (again, I'm not talking cheap). Take AMCC for example at $4, or SNDK <$10. Those are a much safer risk in MOMO trading or long term swing trading than some bloated GNSS at >$20, or QLGC at $38...stocks that were on the list you provided Connie.

You had ARTG, why? Because it's bouncy? No more than CORV (well, maybe slightly more).

But the huge difference between them is that CORV is a safer play at its current valuation, and that makes a difference to those that might consider and can tolerate holding a stock more than a few hours, which was what her question was with regard to.
