| Most of the packing is done. We are going to leave breakables for the movers, and have some stuff to finish. We had some new furniture delivered to the other house already: some chairs that I had to put together, a new desk (which I have not put together yet), some living room furniture, and a fabulous king size bed that I spent about a thousand dollars more than I meant to on. Some stuff will be left her for disposal at the dump, after a final clean- up (we do not have to vacate until a couple of weeks after we intend to move). I am fairly exhausted, too excited to sleep, plus to many Code Red days affecting my sinuses, and getting on a big tear about getting things done fast. I did much of the intial boxing myself, even though my wife kept telling me to pace myself. Anyway, she is taking off a couple of extra days before the 4th, and has been working on her two main projects this weekend, so I am sure that everything that can be done well in advance will be done before the movers come, which is July 13th.......... |
