| It has been over 14 years since our last move. But both my wife and eye are slobs with a difference, that is, very organized about important things, but not sticklers for hanging out around the house. Thus, some of the messiness is more apparent than real: for example, it looked like the area around my computer was a disaster, but it turned out that despite some messiness, most of it was already organized and merely needed a final sorting, I had just been lax on surface appearance. Similarly, I had one bookshelf that looked like a terrible mess, but it turned out that I had just not re-shelved neatly. Otherwise, the books were pretty much ready for a final winnowing and boxing. So, in general, though time consuming, it is not as daunting as we might have thought....... |
