I believe I already told you why. To repeat - political suicide. There is also the fact that the matter is still under review by the court.

I believe there is ENORMOUS resentment of these types of lawsuits. If the people who bring these "me against everyone else" suits really seek to not be singled out, they might stop painting targets on themselves.

If its no big deal, why don't ATHEISTS step forward and say so in public?

I believe its a stretch to think atheists are persecuted in the United States.

The majority does not like legislation by the judiciary.

I do not think we need an Atheist Appreciation Week (hell, we probably already have one).
