Chinu, I agree with, and respect your view of the political climate in India. I have known several Indian families, and know that peaceful existence is one of their prime objectives. If such an attitude can rub of on Muslims, then the Muslims, and the world are better off for it. I have had two doctors that are of Indian descent, and their passion for healing quite often out shines that of some born in America doctors. I became quite friendly with on in particular, who I credit with saving my life, but he when his fellowship in Houston was up, he moved to a hospital on the East Coast, and I moved to Florida, so we have lost contact.
IMO, for anyone to have serious objections to the use of the word God, or any other deity worshiped by others than himself, indicates that he is fearful of an entity that receives the love of so many humans who he does not know, or have any belief in. I believe that, in the heart of every atheist, there is serious doubt, and that he may be missing something very important in his life, and that his short sojourn on this planet is all there is.
I will bookmark your thread, and lurk for awhile to see if it can stand my, sometimes acidic, comments. :^)
Peace upon your house and all who dwell there. |
