I was at Ruppert's site earlier. As I browsed and read i began to contemplate greed. Hopefully we can agree that greed in some form or another exists in everyone. In some "the desire for more" and the extent to which they wil go to get it is greater than others. Greed can drive people to do things that others might consider inconcievable. MOst of my employess come from low income backgrounds yet some will try to rob cash, supplies, time, and food, yet others will not.

It is impossible to conclude that the type of greed that allows a ghetto teen to kill another over a pair of sneakers or beat and rob a 70 year old lady for her Social Security check ONLY exists at low income levels. The scenery changes but the underlying characteristics of human nature are the same. The actions of those at WCOM, ENE, and most of Wall Street throughout the 90's demostrate this.

Interesting.

Time to go for a swim. I have a goal of swimming around the pier this year and will never make it without practice.
