Vic, don't forget that the boomers love their RV's.
Personally, I don't own one because I have a Bombardier challenger which allows me to avoid airport security. Which everyone knows is a pain in the ass.
>>NEW YORK - On June 26, the S&P 500 nearly tested its September 2001 lows; with the first half of the year drawing to a close, the S&P 500 is down 15%. Yet even in this misery, 40% of the S&P 500 companies actually posted six-month price gains.

The best-performing stock amongst issues with a market value of at least $1 billion is Thor Industries (nyse: THO - news - people ), which rose 95% in the first half. Thor sells motor homes and travel trailers, such as its top-of-the-line Airstream.

For the 12 months ended in April, Thor's sales are up 29%, to $1.1 billion, versus the same period last year. Earnings rose 27%, to $2.97 per share, over the same period.
