T, I still think fiat currencies are the way to go, but they have to be controlled by economic reality. The dollar has not been. The Swissie has. The Euro was a bad citizen, but is finally getting more like the D-Mark than the Lira. They are hitting the Yen over the head with a sledge hammer and it still goes up on the back of the savings surplus in the Japanese economy.

There are currencies that are much worse than the dollar. I wouldn't take any Argentinos or Brazilian Reals or whatever funny money they use. No wan a Yuan. But the countries with currency growth that reflects the realities of their economies are the ones who will benefit.

Gold is like the back up kicker on the team. He can get a moment of fame and I think he is still in the limelight. But when it comes interview time, everyone wants to talk to the quarterback.
