I notice Templeton never has anything to say about gold, and that may be because he's a genuine depression-era child and saw what the gov did with it. But on the interview with Maria B. he certainly did mention specifically the Aussie and the Loonie, I guess because to some extent they are "backed" indirectly by natural resources.

As much as I worry about the dollar, however, I do find that carrying around a good-sized wad of them still is better than sucking your thumb. I guess I could put a 1/4 oz. Eagle on a stud and get it put inside my lower lip.
