Karen - I must have missed a post. The basis of political suicide (or victory) is VOTES.

I am sure you are sincere in your views re God but you seem to be seeking affirmation of your beliefs by those who have other, fundamentally different beliefs. Your expectations may be unrealistic.

A huge number of your countrymen are greatly offended by movies, TV, pop music, and pop culture in general. Enduring the occasional eyeroll on Fox should be a piece of cake.
