Yet letting them live is cruel and unusual and killing them is not. I was just wondering if you could explain to a dumb dog why that is necessarily so. Oh, is THAT the only problem. Sure, I'm always willing to accommodate a dog, dumb or not. I like dogs. It's simple: If you kill them, they will not cause you or anyone else any trouble. If you torture them and leave them alive- -bad mistake. They will hunt you down and kill YOU. Simple self interest. Clear?
