i thought Richebacher's thesis was that the negative savings rate was helping to feed this bubble economy and that the negative savings rate was unsustainable over the long term so... prepare yourself in advance. increased savings and decreased spending seems to be exactly what Richebacher's was talking about BEFORE it happened. correct me if i'm wrong...
