Dennis: IBD, S&P, Media General, etc. have different definitions for Sectors and Industrial Groups. If you want IBD's industry group, the easiest way is to pay $35. On Sectors and Industrial Groups, there are two approaches, top down and bottom up. Usually you find only one approach but not both. TC2000 gives both, but the database is not free. Yahoo has a good top down Sectors and Industry Groups, see Message 17675102 Julius
