Very interesting. Baby- talk is often nonsensical, but not, I think, primarily so. What we think of as such has a cutsie element which repeats or distorts syllables a lot....for example:"Does baby- waby want a botta-wotta?" So I am a little confused about how much it is supposed to help myself. But it makes some sense.
