Right now, we are weighing various options, and therefore focusing on core requirements. He is good at drawing and design, singing, computers (generally, and specifically computer graphics), writing, and has shown a flair (though with limited experience) for acting. He did well in social studies, including psychology, so he might get interested in something like psych or poli sci. He was good at math, but I know he is not interested in science or engineering. I have mentioned to him that the art, music, and drama majors are very "preprofessional", and would not allow as much general learning as a more conventional major, like English. I have to check on journalism, which is a possibility. I would say that art, music, or something oriented to writing, like English or journalism, will end up being the major.....
