GROUND ZERO, Re: please, where are you going with this? The U.S. and Israel are dramatically out of step with world opinion. The U.N., the European Union, the Arab world and all Third World nations are united in the opinion that Israeli aggression is morally wrong. The U.S. is the big bully that supports the mini-Hitler in charge in Israel. Where I'm going with this is to say plainly and on the record that the U.S. official position of support for Israel is morally reprehensible and puts us on the wrong side of history. We can be bullies, we can be militarists and we can be moral failures, but not forever. We are on the wrong course in this country. We have lost sight of basic fairness in human affairs. We have been reduced to the same morally bankrupt stance of tyranny throughout time, declaring might makes right. Our government is bleeding the citizenry of the U.S. dry in order to build the most obscene military machine the world has ever known. It's a wonderful and fabulous opportunity for the War Rackets profiteers, but for most of the planet, it is a tragedy. -Ray
