It's certainly money down the drain, as is the half-trillion petrodollars to Saudi Arabia, and many trillions in the 200 military adventures in the past 50 years, which serve only to piss of the rest of the world to the extent of suicide missions on our homeland.

Not a good investment, I'd say.
