Graham, I just read articles about Geac Company and Discreet Logic Inc. They both had big gain in their share prices recently. One of the factor leads to succeed they both in common is slash operating expenses\cost. Corel's target of expenses in advertising is
20 millions per quarter. That sounds a little too much for me especially the profit is just few millions against about 100 millions
revenue per quarter. Does anyone know how much Microsoft spend on the
advertising? If Microsoft spend same money as Corel. Then no wonder Microsoft can make a huge profit (don't forget WP8 street price is less $200 than Office 97). Corel had a problem of not spending their money wisely in the past. The above is just my opinion. If most of you
guys (shareholders) have same feeling as me. Maybe we should speak up and let the company knows that.
