No, child abuse is more complex than a single issue... what is critical in Newdow's case is that he raised a child for the purpose of putting the child in harms way to make a point, then used her as his client to advance his own selfish agenda... this is abuse... this act has nothing to do with her beliefs, religious or otherwise, but that he manipulated the child's life to serve his own selfish agenda... this is what abuse is all about, putting one's own selfish agenda over the child's needs, child abuse or elderly abuse... GZ
