Frederick,
<< God our Father doesn't hate or get angry. All hatred and anger comes from any and all separation, division and denial of his perfect will and providence and love for each one of us. >>
I would agree with you if you said that all GOOD comes from God our Father, as stated in James 1:17, but hate and anger are not always wrong.
Here are just a few examples from the Bible:
God hates divorce. (Mal. 2:16) God hates wicked people. (Ps. 11:5) God hates a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren. (Pro. 6:18) God hates false worship. (Deut. 16:22)
God was angry with the nation of Israel (Deut. 1:34), Moses (Deut. 4:21), Solomon (1 Kings 11:9), and the moneychangers in the temple (John 2:14).
One cannot love that which is good without hating that which is evil. If you love your wife, wouldn’t you hate for her to get raped and murdered?
We are commanded in Psalm 4:4 to be angry, but not to sin. Were you not angry when the twin towers were destroyed and thousands of innocent lives taken? Do you not hate that great evil? God hates all manner of sin and punishes those who do wickedly, here and for eternity.
