The Issue here is not the system of govt. of Saudi Arabia. The Issue here is the US preaching its system of govt. to the entire world and then they themselves failing to adhere to what they preach. Maybe your argument would be relevant in the Kashmir region where the Pakistani President General Musharraf refuses to hold democratic elections in Pakistan but is requiring that elections be held in Kashmir as a form of settlement of its dispute with India. Saudi Arabia is not requiring elections be held in Palestine. Is that how you have been understanding it all along?

If your contention is Arafat does not have a country, then that needs to be extended to Israel also when a group of Jewish folks militarily grabbed a piece of land and claimed it their country. If they could have one in that manner, then why is it that Arafat also cannot have one in a similar fashion? Just answer and let us stop beating around the bush.
