I will do so also. But again, the British left behind a lot of mess when they were retreating from their colonies. Especially after WWII when they were fully battered by the Germans and they did not have the infrastructure anymore to settle things in their colonies. The Kashmir problem is one such instance.

With the battered British economy after WWII, I sometimes wonder if the Germans under Hitler should be also given some credit for hastening the fall of colonialism. Similar to Osama and his brand of terrorism which possibly could be the reason that Saudi and others have been forced to accept the existence of Israel. I know that some would like to credit Ariel Sharon and his current military adventure for the Saudi turnaround. But we have to remember that Osama has stated his opposition to the Saudi royal family and the Saudi royal better wake up and choose between the reality of terror and the reality of Israel's existence. And then once the Saudi accept the reality of Israel, then it forces Sharon's hand in accepting the reality of Palestine and the Plaestenian people and their wishes of a state and their leader.
