Frank, I enjoyed you posts and encourage you to tell of your success with linux. I have posted on this thread a long time. I'll just observe that some have posted all kinds of ignorant crap about Xfree86 and X in general and other aspects of Linux. I think they call crap posted over the internet E-CRAP. In particular in the past I opined a couple of the major weaknesses that have held back linux are hi-res printer drives and sound multimedia support. Your story tells of progress on these fronts that I have also found. I have used several distros and have mostly switched back and fouth between Redhat and Manddrake. ON the Linux OS.: Technical questions thread I am in the middle of a linux install tale. #reply-17609912 I have to write up my installation of multi-display XFree86 and also Xig AcceleratedX Multihead.
