Keep the muscles pumped up-JPR
What India really wants By Shahid Javed BurkiIf

what I have said above is correct, India's real motive for its continuing confrontation with its neighbour may not be to settle the Kashmir dispute in its favour. It may well be to weaken Pakistan to the point where it would be forced to become an Indian satellite.

JPR's note:
Keeping the Indian military at the border will slowly drain the sap out of the pakistan in terms of resources and will which will deplete their scarce resources and the economic aid that pakistan got from the West and Japan after 9/11. Indians can demoralize, devastate and defeat, and break up Pakistan without firing a shot and letting the internal disruptive fissiparous forces work for the Indians. They have been a thorn the side of Indians for half-a-century and it is the India's turn to reverse the role and keep the pressure on them for as long as possible knowing fully well that their economy needs constant cash infusion from the West and Japan. This non-combative muscle-flexing (for the Indians) resource-depleting (for Pakistan) role will keep Pakistan on edge and keep China at arm's length.
