Judy,
My estimate for PACC's earnings was .45 pretax. PACC actually reported eps of .49 pretax from current operations:

From Earnings Report:

Net Income From Operations ( Pretax ): $1,900,000
Shares Outstanding: 3,866,130

$1,900,000 / 3,866,130 = .49

* PACC ( as well as all companies with a tax loss carry forward had to comply with new GAP rules effective end of June ) Requires companies with a tax loss carry forward to report earnings on a fully taxed basis even though no actual funds will be paid to the IRS ) Only difference between this report and the last several qtrs was that now PACC has to report eps on a if taxed basis.

LAST 4 QTRS - Same Standard as prior qtrs

Sep 96: profit of .13 versus a loss of .11
Dec 97: profit of .25 versus a loss of .11
Mar 97: profit of .35 versus a loss of .13
Jun 97: profit of .49 versus a loss of .13

* PACC did not pay taxes in prior qtrs as a result of its tax loss carry forward.

* PACC also received $413,000 or .11 net of tax from discontinued operations but I did not include this in my June qtr estimate.

* Believe PACC will rebound back up to new highs once this report is reviewed in greater detail. . Still believe more good news is coming. . a stock split is being considered.
