Hey would you happen to have any historic articles that present a different picture of what I keep reading from the bears. The old saw is, 'there have been a few bubbles, 1901,1929,196? - and all of these resulted in a flat market with a slight downside bias for years. Is there any counter argument to this? You have been through a few bear mkts you said... I know of one bubble that did not follow this trend, that was N Calif real estate in the late 80s. The bubble burst hard in 1990, 91. Was flat for a few years - like 2- and then resumed a slow steady uptick, finally surpassing prior highs. But thats real estate. It was a bubble though, no doubt about that/.
