Are these phones usable to LWIN?

Yep....part of my belief in LWIN's chances comes from the fact that handset costs are going to be falling dramatically in the next six-nine months. The large carriers are going to be transitioning to 1x and GPS handsets which will inevitably leave inventory of unsold IS-95 and non-GPS handsets.

These handsets would be falling in price anyway....but the introduction of ZIF enabled 1x handsets (less components, lower priced) is just going to hasten the fall.

The same thing has happened in the past to analog inventory....many of the manufacturers had to write off their inventory and sell the handsets for whatever they could get. Hopefully, LWIN can take advantage of the transition to get some good deals.
