Why thank you August - I am a proud mama. It was the middle of the night when he decided to make his entry into the world. We lived on the westside of LA and the hospital was downtown. We packed up his sister and the dog and were stopped for speeding and running a red light. I put on a good show for the cop who then gave us an escort to the hospital. When we got there, the doors were locked. His dad was running around the perimeter of the hospital looking for someone to let us in while I tried to take care of the dog and his sister and also to try and delay his debut. It was a rather frantic night. It's been kinda like that ever since.
