Actually Thomas, The Arab countries seized all Jewish assets in 1949 as they ran the Jews out of their countries.

BTW, how is it that your Arab brethren can be so poor, given that they sit on the bulk of the world's natural wealth? Perhaps they should use their massive oil money to build Democratic institutions, instead of financing terrorist training camps and plotting to destroy the more advanced civilisations?

Israeli wealth was generated by adhering to free market principles, which make them the envy of the region and the object of hatred by western liberals and Muslim radicals.
