The difference you describe is about socialists and right wing. I have observed some Falashas lately. The young adults, when asked "where are you from" answer with some irritation, "from Israel of course". They are very well integrated. It kind of amazing to compare them to their mothers coming down from the planes twenty years ago, starving, sick looking, already old at twenty. It's is not the religion that hold the Israeli together IMO, it's more like Zionism. Down to it, they can't understand that while the Israeli Jews are about one habitant on a thousand in this planet, they have a problem nurturing a surface not even equal to one out of ten thousand, more than half of it being desert. Not to mention some History. Which doesn't not take any merit from the Palestinian claim to land just the same. But peacefully please if they hope to get some help from outside... Nice idea, this forum. Good luck.
