Prosecutors to criminally charge analysts -- NY Post

That is unbelievable. Charge them for not recognizing that we were in a bubble?
Prosecutors will have a chance to get a chance at fame and try to further their political careers.

Contrary to what others may believe, I don't think this really gives investors much confidence..especially overseas.

This also leads me to believe we are going to see a lot of CEOs gets charged; I bet they can come up with lots of insider trading charges on many CEOs...and should be able to put a lot of people behind bars. I also believe jurys will have no sympathy. Could be a long process of finding such people and will grab headlines for years, imho.

The market cannot go anywhere but down if we get lots of stories like this, imho.
...and I expect lots.
Maybe that bear in the Ameritrade commercial with a Nasdaq 800 target is right on the money.<g>
