Ever since Bush took office he has hacked away at individual rights that the Constitution guarantees Americans.Together, Bush and Ashcroft tear up the Freedom of Information Act, they detain people without charging them with a crime, and with Norton's help along with W's big business appointments to Environment, W, Norton and their corporate friends tear up the Clean Air Act and fail to protect Americans from other environmental hazards. Just recently, W cut funds to clean up toxic waste in the US. In the past, Bush even had the gall to strike down laws that would protect workers at work.
And those noxious fumes from Bush's rear end float around the world, creating anger and frustration with his announcement that he would imposed tariffs on foreign steel and lumber. Last week, the foul fumes from W 's rear end reached a peak when he told the Palestinians people that they had better elect a leader that has the seal of approval of W, our Wannabe Dictator. Or else!
W's tyranny is so wicked that he declares that the United States withdraws support from the International Criminal Court which may threaten United Nations peace-keeping efforts. Have you ever seen a US President act with such arrogance and ignorance?
By nature, George W. Bush is a destructive man. Because of his tax breaks to the wealthy, the United States wallows in debt and investors will no longer have confidence in our crooked financial system once it sinks in that the Bush-Cheney team are as crooked as Wall Street crooks. As Paul Krugman notes in his OP-Ed article in today's New York Times , when Bush Junior was a member of the audit committee and board of directors at Harken Energy, W sold two-thirds of HIS shares b4 the public knew Harken was in financial trouble and W let 34 weeks pass b4 he notified the SEC of his stock sale!
"though only a few weeks before bad news that could not be concealed caused Harken's shares to tumble - Mr. Bush sold off two-thirds of his stake, for $848,000. Just for the record, that's about four times bigger than the sale that has Martha Stewart in hot water. Oddly, though the law requires prompt disclosure of insider sales, he neglected to inform the S.E.C. about this transaction until 34 weeks had passed. An internal S.E.C. memorandum concluded that he had broken the law, but no charges were filed. This, everyone insists, had nothing to do with the fact that his father was president. " ---PAUL KRGUMAN

TP, these are depressing times for Americans. I hope that, on your vacation, you can forget about the hardships that Bush has brought not only to Americans but to the rest of the world.
