Where I understand people's sentiment about the racial profiling being acceptable for security screening, I am actually in full agreement with the Secy of Transportation, that the little white haired gramma should not be excluded from the list.

If we there is an obvious pattern of profiles that do not get screened, I guarantee that this profile will be identified and exploited. So where it is important to give additional screening to those who meet *the* profile, we need to continue the random searches so that somebody like John Walker Lindh doesn't sneak through.
