As a user of Pennsaid I would agree 100%. But you get used to the drops pretty quick. They are just cold on a sore spot. Poor marketing, IMO.

Anybody know if there is a replacement for Porvalis in UK? Worried I am going to run out!

Mentioned this to my GP and he stated "no problem, we have another topical gel we can give you that uses declefenic(sp)".

So this might shed some light on the sales problem in the UK. Sure wish I had asked the brand name of the other product. My GP is quite willing to perscribe Pennsaid for me, however it is not his first choice. He was aware of the different delivery system but did not seem to see any benefit, or enough, to change products.
