Crazy ideas are popping up all over. Larry Kudlow now saying we need a huge US attack on the Middle East o boost US spirits and the stock market.Iraq would be only the first target. I have long detested Kudlow as a charlatan and Wall Street shill, but he is far worse than that. And in the GATA camp Bill Murphy has gravely damaged his credibility. He is lending to support to perhaps the craziest economic idea I have ever heard. Namely that the PPT is manipulating the market to wipe out as much of the average American's savings as possible. This to prevent a surge of inflation from all the money the Fed has created.
