* Boxlight plans to start commercial sales of Projectavision's
Digital Office Theater projector by Aug., Mktg. Dir. Bradley
Gleeson said. Saying that "convergence issues" plaguing
* Projectavision's Digital Light Processor (DLP) projector have been
resolved, he said company expected to receive sample shipments this
month. Projector is based on Texas Instruments technology. At same
time, Boxlight opened first U.K. office last week to sell Digital
Office Theater projector to both commercial and retail channels
there, Gleeson said. Boxlight sells projector only to commercial
* channels in U.S., where Projectavision handles retail. New office,
which also sells LCD projectors, will be supplemented in Europe by
26 distributors, with number of distributors expected to double
with launch of Digital Office Theater in U.K. and Europe this fall,
he said.
