Even though VTEL is at the higher end of videoconferencing, this will reinforce perceptions of weakness in the industry, which is not good for VTEL. VTEL has been lowering expectations for the Q, as they withdrew their sales force for three weeks for training on new strategies this Q. So Q4 is a bust, with rev likely about 40-44 million. They also suggest they will not make money next Q either, so it is early 1998 at best before we see a profit. Yeadon
