Good analysis! Finally, someone who sees the light.

I am not say that things are going to turn out exactly the way you are describing. However, I see little weight on this forum for your point of view.

Intel is in the semiconductor business. X86 CPUs are products that enable the large capital investments required for next-generation fabs. Vertically integrated design houses that own fabs stand to reap huge profits because of the synergies between process and design for processes 130 nm and below.
