NITT, good post. Another point is that AMD's current financial condition (life support, imo) is hurting its chances of ever getting Hammer accepted in thr market place. If I'm a CEO & I 've got to allocate scarce resources on either the AMD or Intel 64 bit platform, there is NO WAY I would even consider AMD. Intel has the customer base & is not going away, while AMD will be bleeding money for the foreseable future. Any ISV writing programs for Hammer that may not be usable on Intel platforms has got to be nuts. Joey
