On Topic. Reviewing a recent big stock move AVIR, shows a similar chart of pronounced distribution (selling) of a stock pending results of a study. In this case AVIR releases the results of a clearly and definitely successfull study (contrary to the previously explained cases of CNSI and AIMM) and the stock jumps from the $14 to $18 on the day of the news, and today jump again to $26 and closes in the $24 area. This does not necessarily will happen so dramatically with every stock (check ERGO nice news and little movement), but it underscores my strategy: stay in the sidelines if you do not clearly understand the situation and only in the stock for gut feeling. Besides, the market (100s of millions of dollars)for a nasal common cold vaccine is already proven by the previous shot vaccine and with an obvious advantage. Both ERGO and if successful ABTI do not have a clear and obvious market, so why a big jump is expected very suddenly? If I have the stock I will hold and resist the tentations of picking some more cheap. I do not hold it so I will wait.
