VTSS had buys from CEO and CFO.

I just added STEC to my buys. I'm that you'll think I'm swinging too soon on that one, but I'm impressed with how much the downside volume has dried up.

All of those stocks except VTSS have almost zero long term debt.

I've seen those comparisons to 1929 before. These charts showing up in IBD now, and not back in 1999 or 2000 just serve to confirm the extreme negative sentiment out there. (see how nicely it fits my perspective.)

I'm not sure how much cheaper some of these shares can get - I suppose they could trade near cash value instead of near bv, but we're not far off from that in the small caps.

For example,
STEC at 2.4x cash, 1.4xbv
OAKT at 1.6x cash, 1.2xbv

Maybe we should value them as if they didn't have interesting technology and the the tech cycle would continue to be punk for the next 2 years.
