The most nauseating thing about the European's recent behaviour is the similarity to 1938. As it was with Czechoslovakia and Hitler, the driving unmentioned belief is that sacrificing Israel to the Arabs will make the Europeans safe from Bin Laden.

Interesting how similar Bin Laden's contempt for the west is to that expressed by Hitler.

As for Chamberlain and Daladier, Hitler later remarked, "I have seen our enemies at Munich. They are worms."
