The After Genset portfolio takes $3500 in Elan losses and replaces it with Lexicon, LEXG. (Geeze, if I'd stuck to 'genomics' instead of trying to show off, I'd saved myself a nice chunk of change. Somewhat humiliating!) I have about 50k that I might like to deploy into the ACGT portfolio--that should buy half a dozen Genomic-tools or Chemical-Genomics, or Proteomic oriented companies. It is possible that I won't deploy the old Genset money into more biotech, so feel free to talk me out of it as well...I have about 120k in biotechs, quite a lot of cash, but there is a limit to the masochism I can withstand. My broker asked me if I wanted to buy a CD the other day, ha ha! It must pain him to look at my portfolio. Suggestions are more than welcome. Happy Independence Day! Maybe the Fourth will be peaceful and the market will strengthen after the holiday.
