What is Roycroft? I don't know of it/him/her/them/whatever.
It was the annual meeting of the Family Law Section of the state bar association. And on top of that, I've just moved my office, which if you've ever done it you know what it entails, and if you haven't, you can only begin to imagine. Since I'm solo, it entailed not just moving me, but all the business files, billing records going back ten years, all the client files going back ten years, all the advance sheets, session laws, the entire law library, three computers, copy machine, two rooms of furniture plus the workroom and kitchen, etc. I did have movers come in to do the heavy furniture, but the girls and I did the rest ourselves. Whew.
I'm still digging out, but I can see that I might be back to normal by sometime in October.
Fortunately the trial I had scheduled for later this month got continued. |
