When I was still with IBM Level 2 MVS support, we had a 'tiered' support structure where customers could elect to pay extra to be connected with senior support personnel on problems. Since problems were 'queued' electronically, there were specific queues created where complex problems were routed and looked at initially by skilled debuggers to determine what piece of MVS the problem might lie in. Of course, as you say, that is a different world from paying extra to get the same guy to pick up the phone quicker and read the same script back to you.

Regards,
John

PS - The other thing is, when I discovered that little 'gotcha' the other day, it was browsing the 'home' part of the site. It could very well be that buying via the business route avoids that, but I did not check it out...
