Referring to your post 671:
This is your post 662 to YOGI to which I replied
"Youre reply is most incredible... if we didn't use the atomic bomb in Japan, it would have cost our military countless lives and months, maybe years, of unnecessary fighting... remember, they started the war against us with Pearl Harbor... we don't start wars, we finish them....."
This was my reply to you which refers to your topic at the end of your reply to YOGI.
"War of Independence, Spanish-American war, Viet Nam war, were all started by the USA. The Viet Nam war was finished alright but by the USA?"
The following was also my reply to YOGI's 622
"As for the atomic bombs dropped on Japan, it's theoretical as to what would have happened if they had not been dropped. That bomb nr.1 saved American lives is certain. Was bomb nr.2 necessary? I don't know. No way to find out.
Certainly the use of these 2 weapons helped to prevent their use later on. And that is good. The effects of radiation were high lighted as well. All of this at a tremendous cost to Japanese civilians."
Here I point out to YOGI that it is a theoretical question about the use of atomic bombs on Japan and, in fact agree and expand on your take on this topic.
Your last question "Are you French Canadian?" is OT and therefore will not be answered.
I hope that you now can make sense of my reply to YOGI's post 622 and can now see that I kept to the topic.
