Au contraire'. Assuming that he didn't panic and sell prior to today's close, his education has cost him nothing. Next time he won't buy at the opening tick, and wait at least an hour (as I'd suggested). But, in any case, even this buyer at the opening tick is not a loser. Was anybody expecting that?
