Why he is a stepson. Saddam took a fancy to his Mom. Unfortunately she was married to another guy at the time. Saddam took the woman to be his second wife and made this guy's pop head of Iraqi Air as the consolation prize for losing his wife. We all can figure out what would have happened if hs Dad had tried to keep Saddam from getting what he wanted....
