I am made to affirm in words the existence of a being I do not "believe" in- Wrong. You are made to listen to others affirm that in words. You are not made to affirm it. It is insulting to be made to pray in a government place Even if you consider the words "under God" a prayer, which is boiling that pigeon a third time, even so you are not made to pray in a governement place. You can just keep silent, or say to yourself, if you wish, "under nothing," or whatever. You are not made to pray You are just made not to prevent others who want to pray from doing so.
